This year I participated in the 2024 Innovate 48 hosted by Liftyz and Design Buddies, also known as the 48-hour product design hackathon. Where my team and I are given a prompt and have 48 hours to design, create or update an app.
Our team took the IKEA prompt where we had to update the 'Buy Back & Resell' Program. The IKEA 'Buy Back & Resell' Program takes old furniture and sells it to a new home in order to encourage sustainable living.
What we had to do? Find a way to make this program more accessible to the buyer, seller and IKEA Employees.
